We live in North Yorkshire and found this wonderful furniture store whilst visiting Bath…….what a find ! An amazing selection of traditional and contemporary furniture, displayed beautifully over many floors. Sally, a most pleasant sales lady, helped us to make our choice of table, chairs and sideboard - her extensive knowledge of all the ranges was so helpful and her input most valuable and welcome. Delivery was arranged by Stuart ( of dispatch)…..so lovely to speak to an actual person - who was charming and most accommodating. Our furniture arrived yesterday, transported and delivered by Sam and Jake who were most pleasant and helpful…… even though the trip took them almost 5 hours , they assembled the table and demonstrated how it extends and then positioned everything as I requested- nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with our new furniture…..it looks perfect in our new kitchen diner. Many thanks to the whole Hays team…….it has been a joy to shop with a company where customer service is their priority……..we'll definitely be returning soon !
Our ordered bed settee was originally due to be delivered at beginning of Dec. 2023. It was delayed by the manufacturer until late Jan this year. but I was only informed of this when I phoned Hayes to obtain a specific day in early Dec. I was told then that I would be informed immediately it came in in Jan. and would be delivered on the first delivery day for our area. Again that did not happen!
However I must give full credit to Frank and Rob our delivery team who took every possible care to ensure the item and our newly decorated rooms were not damaged. They took time to explain the bed settee mechanism and were both very polite

We ordered sofas, a mattress and office furniture.
From a sales point of view, Rebecca and Julia were great and from a delivery point of view, Kris, Paul and Jake were excellent, taking great care delivering and taking old items away from our first floor flat
Sam C and Jake delivered our new sofa bed smoothly and efficiently. They were very pleasant and professional. We are very happy with our choice of sofa bed.

Fantastic service all round from TR Hayes
Phil was very knowledgeble about the mattresses we were looking at, and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy with every detail, when ordering. We were also very happy with the friendly, professional service provided by Kris and Jake who delivered the mattresses, and had to carry them up to the top floor of the house. The mattresses are top quality and extremly comfortable. Brilliant serivice all round.
As always great service, Ben was very efficient and helped us with our purchase of a new dining room table and chairs which was delivered by Kris and Paul with a smile. We would always recommend people to visit as you get good old fashioned customer service.

We were impressed by not only the quality and comfort of the furniture we bought, but also the delivery process - courtesy of Kris and Paul. They gave us plenty of notice of their ETA on the day of delivery, and carried the pieces in carefully and smoothly. Thank you both, and also Julia, who dealt with the sale in the first place and kindly accommodated our request for a somewhat delayed delivery date.

Exceptional service
I have been buying from T R Hayes for 25 years plus! They are my number one destination when I need to replace furniture.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always happy to answer questions and advise.
Delivery was made by arrangement with a personal call from the warehouse manager , and a time slot was advised on the day of delivery, so no hanging about all day. The delivery team also called me to let me know that they were on the way to me. My furniture was carefully offloaded, all packaging removed and taken away.
The delivery team were very helpful and respectful of my home.

Rebecca was very patient and helpful to show every sofa available, there was a lot to choose from, until I found the perfect ones.
Steve and Paul delivered on a very hot day with care and made sure to put the sofas exactly where I wanted them. So helpful and friendly,.

We have purchased a good few items of furniture over the years, and have always found the service to be excellent. Today we received a new dining table, and once again everything was faultless Paul and Steve who delivered the item and put the table together were excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to use Hayes again!

Dining room chairs
Very happy with our new dining room chairs they match perfectly with our table.
They did take longer to arrive than first quoted when we purchased them but are worth the wait. Maybe a short message would be good to keep customers up to date with delivery times.
Delivery on the day by Steve and Sam was excellent.
