We live in North Yorkshire and found this wonderful furniture store whilst visiting Bath…….what a find ! An amazing selection of traditional and contemporary furniture, displayed beautifully over many floors. Sally, a most pleasant sales lady, helped us to make our choice of table, chairs and sideboard - her extensive knowledge of all the ranges was so helpful and her input most valuable and welcome. Delivery was arranged by Stuart ( of dispatch)…..so lovely to speak to an actual person - who was charming and most accommodating. Our furniture arrived yesterday, transported and delivered by Sam and Jake who were most pleasant and helpful…… even though the trip took them almost 5 hours , they assembled the table and demonstrated how it extends and then positioned everything as I requested- nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with our new furniture…..it looks perfect in our new kitchen diner. Many thanks to the whole Hays team…….it has been a joy to shop with a company where customer service is their priority……..we'll definitely be returning soon !
Our ordered bed settee was originally due to be delivered at beginning of Dec. 2023. It was delayed by the manufacturer until late Jan this year. but I was only informed of this when I phoned Hayes to obtain a specific day in early Dec. I was told then that I would be informed immediately it came in in Jan. and would be delivered on the first delivery day for our area. Again that did not happen!
However I must give full credit to Frank and Rob our delivery team who took every possible care to ensure the item and our newly decorated rooms were not damaged. They took time to explain the bed settee mechanism and were both very polite

Ben is a superb sales person. Without him in the shop we likely would just have bought a bookshelf (£500). But, he was so good about pointing out other pieces and showing us cool features that we spent about £10,000. He was never pushy, but his level of knowledge is amazing.
Delivery by Steve & Paul was great. Very thoughtful and respectful of our property.

Julia was very helpful and knowledgeable,she knew her beds!
From the moment I opened my door to Jake and Sam they couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. I thought there might have been lots of sucking in breath and saying ooh we can’t do this but no they dissembled old bed quickly and carefully as was build of new bed. I’ll definitely visit Hayes again.

Mattress purchase and delivery
Julia was knowledgeable, helpful and anxious to oblige when we visited the store to make our mattress selection. Kris and Paul made the delivery exactly as arranged by her at the outset in a cheerful, competent fashion and we could not be happier with our experience of this and all our previous associations with TRHayes personnel over many many years.

So much better than internet shopping
We bought a lovely table and chairs in a late summer sale but didn't finish building the room for it until November. Stuart the despatch manager was very helpful and patient and when we eventually took delivery Marcus and Sam were friendly and efficient. Premium product at better than internet pricing with 5 star service, a very good experience.

Excellent customer service
The furniture came even before advised it would be available. The staff are unerringly polite (& knowledgeable)
The delivery staff (Paul & Phill) were extremely respectful, efficient & helpful
The sofa itself is exactly what was ordered & exactly what I wanted
I always default to Hayes for my furniture & have never regretted that decision.

Good showroom with helpful and patient staff. Lucy was very good at balancing supporting me answering the questions I needed to ask while stepping back to give me the space to decide. Sam and Jake had a very friendly and positive energy when making their delivery and assembling my furniture, taking care to ensure my floor was not damaged.

Recently purchased a new mattress c/o Julia who was most helpful.
Waited longer than hoped for delivery but Stuart and Bruce pulled out all the
stops when there was a hitch with delivery date and proved once again that if
you deal with TR Hayes, as we have done over several years, you can expect
first class attention to customer service.

A wonderful local independent store!
Supporting a local independent is important to us so TRHayes was a must when we needed a new bed and mattress. Steve was incredibly helpful (and patient!) while we chose the bed in the wonderfully rabbit-warren esque store. Kris and Paul were prompt, friendly, efficient (and strong!) on delivery day. A great experience all round!

Nate and Sam were spot on!
We had a new mattress delivered by Nate and Sam on Thursday. They arrived within the time frame we had been notified of. They were two very pleasant, personable chaps who had no complaints about dragging a used mattress down the stairs and hoisting a new, heavy one back up. Both cheerful and pleasant to have in the house.

Excellent retailer with wide range of products. Have used before and always found the staff very knowledgable, helpful and personable.
Delivery was carefully undertaken by Paul & Dom and very helpful with being very willing to assist in meeting our needs to move an old sofa into another room..

Phil from the Bath store was soooo helpful and attentive and after sitting on many sofas he directed us to an Ercol one which was perfect.
A special mention though for the delivery men Paul and Luke who were exceptional and had to rearrange various pieces of furniture for us and really couldn’t do enough for us

Dining room chairs
Very happy with our new dining room chairs they match perfectly with our table.
They did take longer to arrive than first quoted when we purchased them but are worth the wait. Maybe a short message would be good to keep customers up to date with delivery times.
Delivery on the day by Steve and Sam was excellent.

The ordering and delivery scheduling process worked smoothly.

Excellent service and delivery
The sales person (Julia) spent plenty of time with me explaining the different types of mattresses. The price was good.
The mattress arrived two weeks later delivered by Steve and Paul. I live on the top floor and they efficiently carried the new mattress up all those stairs in good humour.

Great range of furniture at pleasing prices with traditional service!
After visiting various furniture shops in London for a sofa it was a pleasant surprise to find TR Hayes on a visit to Bath. The range on offer was vast and the prices were very reasonable. To my fellow Londoners, I would say, a day trip to Bath with visit to TR Hayes is a day well spent.
