We live in North Yorkshire and found this wonderful furniture store whilst visiting Bath…….what a find ! An amazing selection of traditional and contemporary furniture, displayed beautifully over many floors. Sally, a most pleasant sales lady, helped us to make our choice of table, chairs and sideboard - her extensive knowledge of all the ranges was so helpful and her input most valuable and welcome. Delivery was arranged by Stuart ( of dispatch)…..so lovely to speak to an actual person - who was charming and most accommodating. Our furniture arrived yesterday, transported and delivered by Sam and Jake who were most pleasant and helpful…… even though the trip took them almost 5 hours , they assembled the table and demonstrated how it extends and then positioned everything as I requested- nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with our new furniture…..it looks perfect in our new kitchen diner. Many thanks to the whole Hays team…….it has been a joy to shop with a company where customer service is their priority……..we'll definitely be returning soon !
Our ordered bed settee was originally due to be delivered at beginning of Dec. 2023. It was delayed by the manufacturer until late Jan this year. but I was only informed of this when I phoned Hayes to obtain a specific day in early Dec. I was told then that I would be informed immediately it came in in Jan. and would be delivered on the first delivery day for our area. Again that did not happen!
However I must give full credit to Frank and Rob our delivery team who took every possible care to ensure the item and our newly decorated rooms were not damaged. They took time to explain the bed settee mechanism and were both very polite

All in all an excellent experience - thank you.
I bought a Hypnos beds from HR Hayes in the autumn 2023 as I was in the process of buying my first house and was due to complete in the next month or so. I visited Hates on a couple of occasions to look at and try their range of divan beds. The customer service I received on both occasions from Rebecca was great - she was very helpful and patient as I tried different beds and asked questions. Unfortunately, the date of my house completion was delayed and once purchased my bed became available before I was able to receive it in my new home. Hayes were very good in holding onto the bed for me until I’d moved in and was in a position to have it delivered. Delivery was great from Frank and Paul, with good communication beforehand about delivery time and quick installation in my chosen room. All in all an excellent experience. I would recommend Hayes to others without hesitation. Thank you.

Good service from T R Hayes staff but quality from furniture manufacturer abysmal
Salesman, delivery men and Customer Services all very good. Unfortunately the sofa produced by the manufacturer was substandard. Initial sofa was delivered with a faulty frame which the external repair technician was unable fix. He recommended a replacement unit which took 4 months to arrive. When this was delivered, after supposedly being thoroughly checked, it had a large hole in the base.
How can they produce two sofas and both be of unacceptable quality. In over 50 years of marriage we have never experienced issues with furniture. Twice for one order is totally unacceptable.

Delivery and removal of heavy beds to a lower floor.
We had a very large double bed delivered with an existing bed to be taken away. Delivery was to a lower floor around the outside of the house therefore a challenge with heavy beds. Jo and Paul took it in their stride being courteous and smiley throughout. We then discovered that expected wooden legs had studs on the bottom that were difficult to remove, fine for a carpet floor but not tiles! They took it in their stride and after some clever cutting of carpet tiles all was fine!

Haynes gave a good service from start to finish. Philip the salesman talked us through the various options to help us choose a bed that suited us. We paid extra to have our existing bed dismantled and taken away. I would particularly like to thank the guys who delivered the bed because they went over and above making the whole process stress free for us. We are not an easy delivery because we are in an elevated position.

Very professional.
The furniture was delivered within the allocated time slot, an earlier call from the delivery guys letting us know they were 30 minutes away was very helpful.
The delivery was carried out very efficiently with great care. Both delivery guys were a credit to TR HAYES. Will definitely shop with them again.

From my initial visit to your store to delivery of chosen goods, customer care has been a priority. So thanks to Steve in sales, Paul and Joe on delivering to the loft , involving lots of stairs, and Simon in aftercare for resolving a minor problem so efficiently.

An excellent experience
Trying out furniture can be tiring and a bit tedious, but the Hayes team made the whole thing as smooth as possible. William's help and advice initially was considered and very helpful, and the delivery team with Frank and Joe were cheerful, helpful and speedy.
Bought two sofas and a footstool. Ordered just before Christmas 2023 and they arrived earlier than expected which was a bonus. The guys who delivered the sofas were both friendly and efficient. Really pleased with our gorgeous new furniture.

Our suite was delivered by Frank and Paul on the day and time we were told to expect it. They explained everything to us, and even removed our old suite to the garage ready to be collected. All in all, very good service.
