Glass arrived yesterday (late) and today I’m asked to review it. O.K. it’s probably quite good but it’s heatproof glass for goodness sake Ask me in 12 months and I’ll know. All I can say is I can see through it and it’s the right size.

Think the price pay for delivery it should at least be delivered to inside your home not on the front street for anyone to take

When I order something ie an adapter for flue described as 8 inch diameter I do not accept that 7and half inch is acceptable

Thank you for your comments and have you discussed this matter with Customer Services? All flue components including adapters must feature a male connection which will be reduced in order to fit inside the component below.

I needed a small product which was promised to arrive the next day.
I placed the order in good faith on the Friday expecting it to arrive on the Monday but it didn't arrive I contacted glowing embers and talked to James He basically passed the buck blaming royal mail but after tracking my order royal mail received the parcel at 7.15 pm on the Monday. I didn't receive it till WednesdayNot happy

I am sorry we were unable to despatch your order same day however, we do state cut-off for same day despatch is 13:00 and your order was placed & paid for at 14:22 and so was despatched the next business day; Monday. I also am saddened to hear you believe our staff 'passed the buck' as this is not our intention but we are at the mercy of the tracking information provided by the courier.

Excelant products, poor delivery service. 1st part of order was damaged, second part of the order was 2 weeks delayed... when delivered it wasn't complete and your team couldn't even help on a next day or a saterday delivery... held up project yet again

Thank you for your review and I am ever so sorry to hear of your experience. I understand your Flexible Liner was sadly damaged in transit and we always replace damaged goods on a next business day service but if we have missed the cut-off that day, we regretably cannot physically despatch until the following day.

The stove we bought was damaged during delivery, the glass on the stove door was broken & there was a significant scratch on the corner of it. They sent us a replacement pane of glass & some paint to touch up the scratch however I didn’t pay £1400 to fix a product myself that was broken on arrival. We are happy with the actual stove, just would have rathered it arrived intact.

Thank you for your thoughts on the condition of your stove and I fully appreciate that when spending these sums of money, you of course should expect it to be in perfect condition. When it comes to blemishes on a stove, the quickest fix can be to offer the coatings used by the manufacturers themselves to rectify the issue within a quick time frame.
