Updating this review below - delighted
Just like many other customers (see here and Trustpilot reviews), after returning walking boots worth 204 to Alpine Trek’s UK hub AND receiving proof of delivery from Royal Mail, Alpine Trek refuses to refund me (claiming, after weeks of blaming Brexit paperwork, that despite proof of delivery, they won't refund as I no longer have proof of postage). Avoid

1. Packaging is very wasteful - unnecessary double walled boxes that when opened are very hard to reuse. Awful design.

2. Products ought to have country of manufacture clearly stated. Many companies make a big ting about recycled materials (great) BUT manufacture in China where exploitation of workers and human rights abuses are appalling.

Ordered thinking this is a uk company then find out item coming from Germany.
Long delivery time

Unfortunately due to the late delivery and the size being unusually small for a medium. I had to return it and pay more as the discount was no-longer valid. So costing me £9 more plus a possible return cost?

Products too slow to arrive. Charged for restocking returns that do not fit - two charges for one order. This is not working for customer or vendor.

Customer service was good, however delivery takes too long and no reason why 2nd order got here before the first when it was ordered day later !

£5 off offer was made on site in return for receiving sales promotion material but then not incorporated into the sale. Will affect future searches and transactions adversely.

btw what is the point in asking my assessment of delivery, product quality, etc on next page when I've only just ordered and level of service is still in the future.

Delivery was delayed and customer service was contacted. More information was provided and the parcel was on its way. Delivered just in time.
It was a different experience than several orders before. It won't stop my using them.again

Very slow delivery. Far too many emails. I’ve unsubscribed .. the daily incoming mail is irritating

Very good product range and decent prices overall. Disoatch appears prompt but tracking is a nightmare due to their lack of an intermediate scan which means no tracking is possible until the UK carrier is in possession. Customer service response is really not very good and is off-putting. I'm pleased with my items but once again the delivery part of the process is just too fraught.

Why do I have to use Chrome when Edge is based on the same underlying technology and more secure??
And as I've just placed the order how can I rate delivery etc.??

Great product but delivery updates stating weeks delays due to customs hold ups made no sense, product arrived the days after.

It took a while for my package to come.

While Alpine Trek as a company seems fine, the use of Evri as a delivery agent will make me think twice before ordering from Alpine Trek again. My last 2 orders have both been delivered to a nearby hotel even although we were in at the time. The local hotel is on winter hours and so it was difficult to get the parcel from them. Evri are the only delivery company that seems incapable of delivering

5 day delivery became 10 days

Delivery time is slow. I ordered my base layers on 8 November and they still haven't arrieved on 22 Nov. What I did like is that I got a prompt reply from customer service when I got in touch explaining that it was an issue with customs. Thank you

Delivery time of 5-7 WORKING days is rather long. Goods actually arrived 13 days after the order.

Great communication and bargain for item purchased but delivery times not as stated when purchasing-allow an extra two weeks for delivery to arrive. Have to say the customer service is great though.

They use Evri as a courier which has got to be worst in UK . Got my delivery plus someone else's! Took 7 days

Tyre arrived and fitted fine, but when I pumped up the tyre the new inner tube supplied by Alpine burst , I contacted Alpine and reported this issue and they said I would be reimbursed the cost of a new inner tube, I am still waiting for my money?

Great clothing, but this time delivery was very poor, about two weeks!

Just checked order progress after three days and not yet with carrier/shipping agent. This is within the three/four days promised, but is very slow for a few items.
Website appears largely in German, which I have very little knowledge. Sales agent did not give me a detailed reply.
Will think twice about my further orders.

Was going to purchase a RAB Microlight Alpine jacket as it was promoted as to 40% off. However when selected all were at full price. Very misleading

Good price but very disappointing to be charged £2.99 to return goods that aren’t really suitable.

They are little bit deceivers, they put one pair first pair in the picture, and the rest 5picture different colour, what do they send you???
First picture that you don't pay attention, you want the next 5 but surprise you will receive the first picture with pink for the boys...

Disappointed that I had a welcome discount but had to spend over £40.00 to use this

The bag is too long and too narrow for the poles

I didn't get a sign up voucher. Confirmation email just kept sending me back to the website without giving me the code

Delivery service left package in front garden at the first attempt, box was ripped open. Nothing was missing but not a good delivery service.
