The European Trusted Shops Seal of Approval has been guaranteeing the safety of online shop-ping since 1999. Today, more than 10,000 online sellers already use our services to prove their reliability and to gain the trust of online customers. Each year, several million consumers purchase from online sellers that have been certified by us, and use our Seal of Approval, Buyer Protection and Customer Rating products. More than 100 employees in Cologne, Warsaw and Paris support the development of Trusted Shops in Europe.
Your job
You are the voice of Trusted Shops and, in this capacity, you help to extend the company’s market leadership. As a member of the Cologne telesales team your job is to acquire new customers within the United Kingdom and to sell our attractive products on the growing e-Commerce market. In particular, your job comprises:
- contacting new customers by e-mail and phone
- cold calling and developing new business
- supporting and advising UK customers up until contract conclusion
- carrying out marketing campaigns
- managing both customer and contract data
- participating in trade fairs and other customer events
Our requirements
The position will ideally suit you if you are customer oriented and have plenty of drive and tenacity with a desire to exceed sales targets. Furthermore you should meet the following criteria:
- native language: English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- ideally first professional experience in outbound telesales within the e-Commerce business, however recent graduates with a keen willingness to learn and grow are also very welcome
- outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills and high level of ambition are forcing requirements
- with a proactive can-do approach you will quickly progress
- keen interest in the Internet and e-Commerce
- knowledge of the English market

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, based in Germany, Cologne. Working time will be 9am to 6pm Monday-Friday.
